This policy explains how Furbishmarket ships refurbished devices, repair parts and accessories to the United Arab Emirates, African countries and the rest of the world. All shipments originate from our China fulfilment hub or a local warehouse partner unless otherwise stated at checkout.
1. United Arab Emirates
Origin: China direct or UAE local warehouse (stock-dependent; the dispatch location is shown on the product page and order confirmation).
Channels: Express air courier (DHL / FedEx / Aramex) for full-value devices; tracked packet services for small parts and accessories.
Transit time: 5–10 business days for China-direct express; 2–4 business days for local-stock shipments.
Shipping cost: AED 45–90 for phones and tablets; AED 25–55 for small parts. Orders over AED 600 ship free by express courier.
Customs & clearance: Prices on the site are DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) for UAE consumers — import VAT and duties are included where shown. You may be asked by the courier for a copy of your Emirates ID or trade licence to clear customs.
IMEI registration: All IMEIs are clean and non-blacklisted. However, the buyer must complete local TDRA IMEI registration upon arrival. Furbishmarket is not responsible for delays, blocks or additional fees caused by failure to register the device with the TDRA.
2. African countries
Origin: China direct or a regional local warehouse in Nigeria / Kenya / South Africa when stock is pre-positioned.
Channels: DHL / FedEx express air; UPS; and selected local last-mile partners for local-warehouse orders.
Transit time: 7–15 business days from China; 3–7 business days from a local warehouse.
Shipping cost: USD 25–65 for phones and tablets; USD 15–40 for parts. Free shipping thresholds are shown per country at checkout.
Customs & clearance tips:
- Provide an accurate phone number and address — customs brokers often call before clearance.
- Keep a copy of your invoice and payment confirmation; some countries require them for release.
- Business / bulk buyers should supply a tax or import licence to avoid delays.
- Duties and taxes may be collected at the border if the order is not marked DDP for your country.
3. Restricted items
Mobile phones and devices containing lithium batteries are classified as dangerous goods. We ship them only through approved battery-certified channels and comply with IATA limits on lithium-ion cells. Some remote destinations may not accept battery-powered devices; if your address is affected we will contact you to arrange an alternative or refund.
4. Payment on delivery
We do not offer cash on delivery (COD). All orders must be paid in full before dispatch through the secure checkout options shown at purchase.

6. Tracking & support
A tracking number is emailed within 1 business day of dispatch. If you do not receive tracking within 3 business days, contact us with your order number. We are not liable for carrier delays caused by customs, weather, strikes or force majeure events.
